How do I calculate the doc stamps on my sale? The doc stamps on the deed are calculated by taking the sales price of the property (rounded to the next $100) multiplied by .0070. Example a sales price of $125,000.00 will have doc stamps on the deed of $875.00
How do I file for Homestead Exemption? You may file for Homestead Exemption with the County Property Appraiser.
Can I write a personal check for closing? Funds due on the day of closing must be either Certified Funds payable to Elite Title of the Treasure Coast, Inc. or wire transfer (please contact our office for our wiring instructions.)
